A DROITWICH equestrian company has won an international award for its quality horse care equipment and clothing.
Treehouse, at New Farm in Rushock, accepted the BETA International Innovation Award for its ‘AeroChill cooling rug’ at the NEC in Birmingham on Sunday.
The rug, made of a super-absorbent polymer fibre fabric, pulls heat from the horse, cooling it down, improving blood circulation, alleviating heat exhaustion and helping muscle recovery.
Sponsored by Equestrian Trade News magazine, the show’s official media partner, the Innovation Awards celebrates the best new products and seeks to raise the profile of craftsmanship, design, technology and invention.
Every exhibitor is invited to enter products in the competition, provided they have not appeared on the market more than 12 months before the show.
