Droitwich families urged to get crafty in the run up to Christmas at Lower Smite Farm

FAMILIES can get crafty and help the Worcestershire Wildlife Trust in the process.

Participants heading to the WWT’s Lower Smite Farm between 2pm and 4pm tomorrow (Wednesday) will be able to make a wreath to take home.

They will also be led around the farm on a festive walk to find things which will provide them with a real home-made Christmas as part of the ‘Natural Craft’ session.

Hannah Thomas, the trust’s engagement officer said it provided a great opportunity to explore the great outdoors and go wild in the run up to Christmas.

Admission is £3.50 per child.

Lower Smite Farm has a purpose-built education centre, a wildlife garden and a mile-long trail with an orchard and two ponds.
