A FUND-RAISING page set up to raise funds for a family who lost everything in a house fire in Droitwich has raised more than £9,200.
Five fire crews battled the large blaze at the property in Burrish Steet last Friday.
Residents living in the area were told to keep their doors and windows because of substantial amounts of smoke coming from the building.
Crews from Droitwich, Worcester and Bromsgrove all attended, along with the incident command unit from Wyre Forest.
The family – Tracy Priddey, JT and Seth – lost everything in the fire.
Following the appeal, they said on the JustGiving page: “We would like to thank each and every one of you who have donated to this fund.
“We are truly overwhelmed.
“On Friday we literally only had the clothes we were stood in.
“Not knowing what to do and with a million questions running through our heads.”
“Your support and kindness has blown us away.”
