A DROITWICH internet firm has celebrated ten years in business.
Wildlife Internet, based on Hanbury Wharf, was formed on July 4, 2008.
The six local employees write software for building websites and ecommence stores, as well as providing digital marketing services to help companies boost their sales.
Neil Whelan, the company’s joint managing director, said: “We are very proud to be celebrating our ten year anniversary having started up at the time of the huge economic downturn and then adapting to the ever-changing online world.
“We have a great team of people who have worked together for years and this is at the heart of our success.”
The company has since diversified into writing specialist applications such as HTTPSChecker which is used to migrate websites to get their green padlock and secure encryption of data transmitted across the web.
This has become a leading tool used by over 10,000 organisations worldwide including sites like The Telegraph and the US government.
“We continue to support our core base of users here in the UK whilst also pushing ahead with exciting, new and innovative projects that will hopefully allow us to continue to grow and employ more local staff.”
