A DROITWICH GP practice has decided to give back this Christmas with its own charity reverse advent calendar.
The team at Spa Medical Practice each year decide to support a local charity instead of sending Christmas cards, and this year they chose St Paul’s Hostel.
Katie Duggan, Medical Secretary, said: “We always try to bring some festive cheer to the team at Christmas time.
“This year we wanted to give back something extra, and doing something for people who find themselves homeless by supporting St Pauls really struck a chord with us all.
“We hope it makes a small difference.”
Instead of taking treats out of an advent calendar, the team donated a present to be put in it, which will go straight to the hostel.
So far, shower gel, mugs, board games and slippers have been donated by the practice.
