THERE will be a buzz about Droitwich on Wednesday, October 25, when a bee themed day is held.
The event, between 10.30am and 3.30pm at the Droitwich Spa Heritage and Information Centre, St Andrews, will provide plenty of fun for all the family.
Visitors will be able to see a real bee hive in operation, learn more about bees throughout the day, make a candle and find out how to spot the queen bee. Heritage managers Sarah Davies and Debbie Watkins are hoping for a good turn-out and that the building will become a hive of activity.
“Bees are so important to our world and our existence so it’s great to be holding a special day to celebrate them and the contribution they bring to our lives,” added Debbie.
Admission to the day is £1 per child.
