DROITWICH High School students have bucked the national trend with their ‘excellent’ A-level results this year.
A school spokesperson said: “We are delighted that our pupils have performed so well and achieved places at their chosen universities or employment destinations.
“We are particularly pleased that 48 per cent of our entries were an A*, A or B grade – 3 per cent higher than in 2018.”
Students on vocational courses also achieved ‘significantly better’ results than last year, according to the school.
Successful pupil Maddie Henn achieved A* grades in English Literature and Theatre Studies as well as an A in History.
She will study Dance and Applied Practice at University of Worcester.
