Droitwich ice cream maker produces special 'Valentine's Day' flavour

Droitwich Editorial 13th Feb, 2019   0

DROITWICH’S Churchfields Farm has produced a romantic new ice cream especially for Valentine’s Day.

Rose is the latest flavour to come from the award-winning family-run farm and will only be available for a limited time.

The delicate flavour is designed to be enjoyed on its own in a cone or incorporated into a Sweet Sundae to share with a loved one.

Gillian Kerton, from Churchfields Farm, said; “Our ice cream is the perfect balance of all the ‘nesses’; freshness, lightness and creaminess.

“We have over 36 flavours on the farm and love experimenting with new ingredients.

“We just loved coming up with this new recipe for Valentine’s Day and can’t wait to hear what people think.”

Churchfields Farm, based in Salwarpe, will also be treating visitors to a host of sweet delights for the patron saint of lovers’ feast day.

A special Valentine’s Afternoon Tea, including a glass of bubbly, will be available until Sunday, February 17, and a Valentine’s Pudding Night takes place tomorrow night, on Valentine’s Day itself. Guests can enjoy a light main meal, followed by five courses of puddings.

Churchfields is open daily from 9am to 5pm and between 10am and 4.30pm on Sundays.
