Droitwich Labour name first candidates for town council elections

DROITWICH Labour Party have announced their first candidates for the upcoming Town Council elections on May 4.

The candidates include Alan Humphries for the Central ward, Catherine Neville for the Chawson ward, James Knudsen for the Copcut ward, Denis Shaw for the East ward, Eve Freer for the Tagwell ward, Val Humphries for the West Ward and Alex Knudsen for the Witton ward.

Droitwich Branch Chair and Droitwich West candidate, Val Humphries, said: “I’m delighted to announce our first wave of Town Council candidates, ensuring that every ward has the opportunity to vote for a Labour voice to be their councillor.

“We’re looking forward to meeting local residents at our upcoming street stalls on the 18th and 25th March in Victoria Square.”

Photo ID will be required for the first time for those wishing to vote in person.
