Droitwich landlord takes on Christmas 'pants' challenge for charity

Lorna Morris 22nd Dec, 2016   0

A DROITWICH landlord is set to bare all this Christmas Eve if residents raise more than £500 for charity.

Scott Mcgeough, at The Freemason’s Arms on Bromsgrove Road, has taken on the ‘Christmas Landlord Challenge’ which will see him work for one hour from 8pm to 9pm on Christmas Eve in only his pants and a bow tie.

Currently at £150, the funds will be donated the Birmingham Children’s Hospital and Scott is confident his customers will surpass the £500 target.

If they raise £1,000, Scott will also sing karaoke.

He said: “It’s just a little bit of fun for a good cause.

“We have a great customer base who are very loyal and generous.

“We chose Birmingham Children’s Hospital because we admire the great work they do throughout the year. This time is especially hard, so we wanted to give something back.”
