STAFF at Droitwich Spa Leisure Centre are hoping for sun when they take on a 72-hole golf challenge for Macmiillan Cancer Support.
Keen golfer Dan Gandy, aged 22, and three others will attempt to complete the challenge in one day when they hit the course on June 21.
The group has already raised hundreds for the charity and they plan on boosting that total with a Macmillan coffee morning.
Dan, who along with the others has had a family or friend affected by cancer, said: “We could be there from early in the morning until 9pm at night.
“A normal round of golf is 18 holes so it will be a real test.
“We are all good mates and want to represent Droitwich Leisure Centre well by wearing our uniforms on the day.”
Dan is hoping that friends and family will be able to attend the event.
