DROITWICH Lido is currently closed because of damage caused by vandals.
Posting a customer notice on Facebook, the team at the popular outdoor pool said: “The Lido has been vandalised and as a result, we will remain closed until further notice.
“Thank you for your understanding and patience.”
The pool only opened for the season on March 2 and with the weather picking up and more sunshine on the way, was likely to become more popular in the coming weeks and months.
Many people took to the pools Facebook page to express their shock and outrage at the vandalism with many saying they had planned to head there this weekend.
