Droitwich Editorial 24th May, 2017 Updated: 24th May, 2017   0

DROITWICH Lido will open its gates for the season this Saturday (May 27).

The outdoor saltwater pool will be ready to make a splash just in time for half-term and as the mercury is soaring.

Seb Parker, manager of the Droitwich Spa Lido said “It’s always a privilege to open the lido up for the summer. We can’t wait for the warm weather so that everybody can make the most of this fantastic place!”

As well as the pool, there is also the wet play area with fountains and water cannons and the cafe and sun terrace.

Those thinking of making regular visits can get a season ticket at the pool which will be open from the weekend until September 3.

Adults can enjoy unlimited lido swimming all summer long for just £100, junior tickets are £50 and family season tickets are just £150!

Season tickets can be used in all public sessions, including the early bird swims every Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 7am to 9am.

Early bird swimming is also discounted for everybody!

Droitwich Spa Lido currently holds the TripAdvisor Certificate of Excellence and has done since 2014.

It has also been recognised as one of the best lidos in Britain by The Times newspaper.
