THE ANNUAL Santa Sleigh run by the Droitwich Lions has raised £4,000 for good causes thanks to the generosity of town residents.
People once again dug deep to donate to the cause and the cash collected will primarily go to help children.
Father Christmas was well-received wherever he went and despite some bad weather the crew was able to complete most of its runs.
Bill Phillips from the Droitwich Lions said: “To those we missed we say sorry and hope we will get to you next time.”
“If anybody would like to help us this year we would be pleased to hear from you.
“We are all getting on a bit so some younger legs would be very useful.”
