Droitwich logistic park's first phase of £18million expansion begins

Droitwich Editorial 19th Dec, 2022   0

DROITWICH’S logistics park has launched the first phase of their proposed £18M expansion.

Potter Space invited commercial property agents as part of their first phase launch, which aims to build an additional four units on the site.

The units will range from 22,000 to 30,500 sq. ft. increasing the size of the site so far to 400,000 sq. ft.

The expansion aims to meet the growing demand in the market for business spaces and is the first phase of the developments long-term plan to double the size of the Droitwich business park

Solar panels, LED lighting and other sustainability measures will be factored into the build by Potter Space to enable the site to remain sustainable.

The launch of the first phase comes after planning permission was granted on the site back in September.

Jason Rockett, managing director at Potter Space, said: “Extensive research has shown there is a lack of supply in the Droitwich area that has led to pent-up demand for space, which is why we are investing in this location.

“Our site is currently fully let, with our existing customers keen to expand their presence and new customers looking to relocate to Potter Space Droitwich.

“The agent launch event was a great opportunity to show agents around the first of our two new units, which have already attracted the attention of potential customers.

“They were able to see first-hand the excellent standards that our construction team are working to throughout this project.”

The first two units currently under construction are due for completion in Spring 2023.
