A DROITWICH man has been jailed for vehicle crime and breaching a restraining order.

Daniel Bullock, 23, formerly of Bays Meadow, was arrested for breaching a harassment protection restraining order. It prevented him from entering Bays Meadow.

Bullock was arrested on suspicion of breaking into two vehicles in Droitwich between March 25 and April 7.

During the first a bank card, which was on display in the vehicle parked in Station Street, was stolen. It was then used for ‘contactless’ transactions at a number of locations in Droitwich and Worcester to the value of £140.74.

During the second theft, on Welland Close, Droitwich a sat nav was stolen. The sat nav was located during searches at the place where Bullock was arrested.

He was charged and remanded in police custody over the weekend, before appearing at Kidderminster Magistrates Court on Monday, April 9.

Bullock pleaded guilty to theft from motor vehicle, handling stolen goods, fraud and breaching a restraining order.

He was sentenced to 12 weeks in prison for these offences.

The restraining order preventing Bullock from entering Bays Meadow remains in force until July 3 of this year.

Anyone who sees Bullock in this area during that time should report it to police by calling 101.
