A DROITWICH-based family-owned marketing firm has pledged to be carbon neutral by the end of 2023.
PSE Offline Marketing has introduced a range of measures to reduce its emissions, including carbon offsetting for paper used, the rollout of an electric car fleet, and reforestation initiatives like planting trees as a direct response to customer purchases.
The decision is from an ongoing drive for sustainable working within the business.
Phil Newton, Chairman of PSE Offline Marketing, said: “What we need to remember is that it’s no longer ‘doing enough’ to just get material from a sustainable source.
“This is why we are reviewing the whole offline marketing journey, in detail, to see where else we can make environmental improvements.
“We are excited to have begun our journey to becoming Carbon Neutral, a destination we hope to reach by the end of next year, and we look forward to announcing our future plans and official strategy.”
