DROITWICH’S Dorset House Nursing Home raised £233 to support the great daffodil appeal through a Marie Curie coffee morning earlier this month.
Staff decorated the home’s lounge with Marie Curie bunting and vases of daffodils, and the kitchen prepared plenty of cakes for visitors and residents to enjoy.
The Marie Curie great daffodil appeal helps to provide support for people going through end-of-life care or dealing with bereavement.
Dorset House lifestyle coordinator Lisa Davies said the care home was honoured to raise funds for a cause very close to their hearts while bringing together families and residents for ‘precious memories.’
