FRIENDS and family of St Peters C of E Academy, Droitwich, spent a lovely sunny day supporting their children in the school’s annual sports day on Tuesday.
Headteacher Tracey O’Keefe-Pullan congratulated the children on their sporting events and Paralympic silver medalist Rebecca Redfern was this year’s guest of honour, helping to start races.
Among the events were the three-legged race and space hopper races.
PE co-ordinator Luke Stokes said: “Sports day is a day full of fun and competition, when the whole school supports their house team and their friends. It is great to see the enthusiasm the children have for each other and their determination in doing the best they can.”
