A DROITWICH primary school has received a £1,000 cash boost to rejuvenate its outdoor spaces.
Chawson First School will use the extra funds to buy new outdoor resources to allow students to develop their interpersonal skills and make the most of their playtime.
The school received the money from Persimmon Homes as part of its community champions scheme.
Each of Persimmon’s 30 offices across Britain gets up to £6,000 every quarter to give to local organisations to leave a lasting legacy in the communities.
Chawson First School PTA’s secretary Flora Panesar said: “Our goal has always been to create a vibrant outdoor space which provides our pupils with lots of learning opportunities including physical development, social skills, and well-being – as well as allowing them to have lots of fun.”
