DROITWICH’S Gardeners Arms is now delivering its popular pub meals and drinks to people so they can have their favourite dishes in the comfort of their own homes.
As well as being on Just Eat, landlord Simon Berry and his staff will also be delivering directly to ensure the meals get to those who want them.
Over the past few years the venue has built up its food and drink reputation but the coronavirus outbreak has proved problematic for punters, especially after Prime Minister Boris Johnson’s announcement yesterday about people avoiding venues.
Mr Berry said: “The pub industry is finding it tough at the moment – these are very challenging times.
“And with some people self-isolating or opting to stay indoors, we are saying ‘don’t worry, we will come to you’.
“We are doing everything possible to make things better for people and this way they can still enjoy the food we produce.”
Among the dishes on offer are the pies the pub has become renowned for, burgers, pizza, Indian dishes, bespoke sausages, children’s meals, vegetarian options and desserts.
Food is available from midday to 9pm everyday.
