A FREE outdoor music extravaganza will take place a Droitwich’s Doverdale Arms tomorrow afternoon and evening.
From 2pm onwards there will be a live acoustic music and singing event in the pub’s garden.
The Dovey has teamed up with Let’s Rock the Lockdown, which was founded by Matty Stinton and friends, for the Live & Local event.
Several artists will be taking to the stage as well as Matty, including Helen Ward, Vanessa Tuzzio and Clare Portman.
Anyone wanting to perform should personal message Graham Sutton or Yvonne Harris on Facebook.
Although it is a free event, donations will be taken for the Worcestershire Acute Hospitals NHS Charity which the pub has been fund-raising for.
Anyone wanting to donate can visit www.wahcharity.org/rock-the-lockdown and pledge cash there.
The outdoor event and social distancing will be in place in line with Government guidance. Capacity is very limited so garden tables will be allocated in a first come, first served basis.
There will be strict safety guidance to adhere to, social distancing must take place, track and trace details, no direct approaching to any artist, limited seating capacity on allocated benches (family/social bubbles only), a one way system in place and sanitisation/cleaning regimes being carried out.
Anyone found not sticking to rules may be asked to leave.
Yvonne said: “We are really looking forward to this day and hope you all can be generous in your donations but most of all that you all have a lovely time!”
