THE CASTLE pub in Droitwich welcomed guests to showcase its refreshed menu and decor last Thursday night.
The Seared pub – the first of its kind in the UK – was introduced by Greene King to offer a menu of food from around the world.
As well as global flavours, there is are pub classics and an extended drinks menu.
The venue also shows live sports and caters for all tastes – whether people want to drink or dine with friends or watch their favourite teams.
On the relaunch night, Elton John tribute act Elite Elton took centre stage, performing a number of classic songs from Crocodile Rock to Rocket Man and Your Song.
Global flavours were on offer, along with signature cocktails and Catherine Rhodes was the lucky winner of the £250 Seared Pubs voucher which can be spent on food and drink.
Rebecca Hall, The Castle’s general manager, said: “We had an absolute blast relaunching Seared Pubs at The Castle at our summer party last night, with hundreds of people coming down to explore our global grill and pub favourites, plus live music from the brilliant Elite Elton.
