Droitwich ready for its annual Christmas lights switch-on

Droitwich Editorial 23rd Nov, 2018 Updated: 23rd Nov, 2018   0

THERE will be plenty of festive fun in Droitwich town centre tomorrow when the annual Christmas lights switch-on takes place.

Activities, including face-painting, the chance to meet Father Christmas and children’s rides will be held in Victoria Square.

From 3.30pm, in the run up to the pushing of the plunger, there will be live music from Sophie Ritanne, the Rock Choir and the Westacre Middle School Choir.

The big countdown and illumination will happen at 4.30pm outside St Richard’s House.

St Andrew’s Church will be holding its Christmas Tree Festival for the fourth year running.

A variety of trees have been created by community groups, businesses and other organisations.
