RESIDENTS can have their household appliances fixed for free at the upcoming Droitwich Repair Cafe at the local library in Victoria Square this Saturday (July 29).
Volunteers will be at the Droitwich Library from 10am to 2pm, doing their best to fix any items you can carry.
The Repair Cafe was set up to help people save money, reuse, repair, recycle and keep items out of landfill.
Items fixed at the repair cafe in the past have included clocks, stereo speakers, chairs, lamps, tools and even a 1950’s teddy bear.
Bromsgrove and Droitwich Makerspace, who organise the event, are always looking for new volunteers so turn up to get registered if you’d like to help out with repairs or meeting and greeting attendees.
