DROITWICH’S Urban Search and Rescue (USAR) team was called to Belbroughton High Street this morning where a white Volkswagen van smashed into the porch of a house.
The police, ambulance service and two fire crews from Kidderminster joined the USAR team but fortunately no one was trapped and there was no structural damage to the property itself, although some was sustained to the porch.
The fire service made the vehicle safe and the police are now investigating in a bid to piece together what happened.
