SPA residents are being urged to submit their memories of Droitwich Library as part of a new ‘Lending an Ear’ project.
Library bosses want to hear from people who remember going there as a child, have experiences as an adult or memories of when the building was a cinema so they can be documented as audio recordings.
Droitwich Library manager Bev Orlowsky said they were looking forward to be participating in the fascinating and exciting project which provided a unique chance for people to record their library memories.
Funding of £49,250 from Arts Council England and £1,000 from The Elmley Foundation has made the scheme possible.
Anyone wanting to take part should go to Droitwich Library between 11am and 1pm on Wednesday (March 2).
