Droitwich Editorial 26th Mar, 2015 Updated: 17th Oct, 2016

RESIDENTS have been warned to be on the look-out for potential poachers after several reported sightings across Droitwich.

In one, at 10.10pm on March 15, two men were seen in fields in Hanbury with lamps and the sound of a shotgun was heard.

Prior to that – about 9pm on March 16 – two men in a white car were spotted by a gamekeeper in Elmbridge.

The vehicle had been seen previously in the same area.

And The Standard reported earlier this month how suspected poachers were seen on a farm in Dunhampstead about 10.45pm on March 7.

Two men were spotted on that occasion buit it is thought there could have been more.

The suspects drove off in a white Transit van.
