Droitwich shop and business owners warned after man tries to spend fake Scottish £50 note

SHOP and business owners in Droitwich are being warned to be on their guard after a man tried to pay for fuel with a fake Scottish £50 note.

The incident happened at the petrol station on Worcester Road at 6.55pm on Saturday evening.

The man was around 40 years old, 5ft 8ins tall and of medium build. He had a chubby appearance and a thick full brown beard and his head shaven but with bits around the side.

Witnesses or anyone with any information should call police on 101 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
