ANTI-BREXIT campaigners from Droitwich Spa travelled to London on Saturday to take part in the ‘Together for the Final Say’ march.
An estimated 700 people from Worcestershire and Herefordshire filled nine coaches and several trains to take part in the march lobbying the Government for a ‘People’s Vote’.
Since the event thousands of people have signed a letter demanding Parliament give people the final say on Brexit.
The letter will be delivered to Downing Street, the Houses of Parliament and the European Parliament before the current Brexit deadline on Thursday, October 31.
Campaigner Margaret Rowley, chair of campaign group Droitwich Spa for Europe, said: “We took part in the march because Prime Minister Boris Johnson needs to hear loud and clear that he must seek our consent before he inflicts his damaging Brexit on our country.”
Several generations of families, war veterans and pensioners took part in the event.
