DROITWICH Spa Heritage Centre is calling on local residents to help preserve the legacy of one of the town’s most iconic buildings, The Raven Hotel.
The centre, like many residents, has expressed deep sadness at the loss of the hotel to a recent fire, and recognisies the important role it has played in the town’s history.
Staff are collecting stories, memories, and photographs from those who have visited, worked at, or have family connections to the historic hotel.
A temporary exhibition is being prepared at the centre to celebrate the Raven’s story and safely archive recollections for the future.
The aim is to capture the life, character, shared memories and special moments that have made the Raven Hotel such a significant landmark in the community for generations.
Organisers say every story, whether large or small, helps paint a fuller picture of the landmark’s role in Droitwich life.
Anyone with stories or photographs connected to the Raven Hotel is encouraged to contribute. Contributions can be made by emailing [email protected] or can be shared in person at the centre.
