Droitwich Spa High School sixth-formers launch website to showcase summer activities in the town

SIXTH FORM students at Droitwich Spa High School have created a one-stop-shop to showcase summer activities for young people in the town to enjoy, writes George Bray.

The Droitwich Area Young People’s Action Group (DAYPAG) chaired by Coun Richard Morris, used the Attollo enterprise group at the school to create the www.summerindroitwich.co.uk website.

It has been funded by Wychavon District Council, which set up a bursary with the high school for the group.

Attollo has also produced flyers and distributed them around their school and other local schools to make sure no one misses out on the summer fun.

Attollo has contacted a number of local groups to find out what activities are taking place for Droitwich’s young people.

All of the events and activities can be found on the website, with descriptions of the entertainment and contact details.

Coun Morris said “I would like to thank Wychavon, the High School and especially the youngsters in Attollo, who worked so well and have provided a platform to help their colleagues over the summer enjoy themselves.”
