DROITWICH Spa Meeting Centre this week welcomed MP Nigel Huddleston and Wychavon District Council chairman Tony Rowley who dropped in to see the service in action.
The centre, which helps residents living with dementia, is overseen by its own Charitable Incorporated Organisation (CIO) with the support programme provided by Age UK Herefordshire and Worcestershire.
It was originally run in partnership by Alzheimer’s Society and University of Worcester.
The centre is based at Droitwich Rugby Club and regular activities, including tai chi and golf, were showcased.
The guests also had lunch with members.
Sessions take place between 10.30am and 3.30pm Wednesday to Friday.
The project is always looking for donations and volunteers.
