Staff at Specsavers in St Andrews Square, Salters Shopping Centre, have been asking their customers to hand in their old specs and hearing aids for the causes which help people in developing countries with hearing problems and eyecare.

The charity sells the, materials from second hand eye-wear as an environmentally friendly way of recycling them while providing support to people in need in countries like Africa.
