TWO STUDENTS who launched a jewellery business in Droitwich have seen its profits soar to £500,000 in less than 12 months.
Rowena Simmons, 20, and Lucky Nwosu, 23, have also seen their brand grace top national fashion magazines, including Vogue, GQ, Esquire and Glamour.
Franco Florenzi, the name of the company, features a popular range of watches and bracelets and the brand is so popular that it has a combined total of 370,000 followers across both Facebook and Instagram.
And both Lucky and Rowena have won several awards, including Best Digital at 2014 Lloyds Bank Enterprise Awards, Midlands Young Entrepreneur of the Year and Midlands Exporter of the Year.
Company founder, Rowena, who is in the final year of her degree in business at the University of Worcester, said: “We are so pleased with how far we have come in the past year.
“Franco Florenzi has really taken off and we are so thankful for all the support we have received.”
