A CHRISTMAS delivery has been the icing on the cake for a county hospice.
More than 33 unique iced cakes have been donated to St Richard’s Hospice by the Wychavon Branch of the Sugarcraft Guild.
The group of ladies, who meet in Droitwich, have been busy making and icing the cakes, ready to be sold, auctioned or raffled.
Jayne Sargeant, St Richard’s community fund-raiser, said: “These cakes are lovingly crafted, each one is unique and truly beautiful.
“They almost look too good to eat!
“We are so grateful to the ladies for donating their time and energy in this way.”
Ann Newton, who chairs the group, said: “We really enjoyed creating these cakes for the hospice. Our ladies have come up with a wide variety of designs to suit all tastes.
“It’s an annual labour of love and we are delighted to see them generating money for a wonderful cause.”
