Droitwich's Copcut Lane to close tomorrow for ten days while electric cables are laid

A MAIN road in Droitwich will be closed from tomorrow (Monday) for ten days to enable work to be carried out by electricity company Western Power Distribution.

Copcut Lane will be shut for ten days, until February 28, from its junction of Ladywood Road to the junction with the A38.

A diversion is in place which will take motorists via New Chawson Lane.

The road needs to be dug up so new cables, electricity poles and conductors can be installed.
