DROITWICH company Fish4Dogs is flying high after sponsoring the second annual UK Flyball League (UKFL), writes Eve Watson.
The event from August 3 to 5 saw more than 850 dogs and 650 handlers attend the Lincolnshire Showground which the League has now made its champion base.
There was racing across the grades from intermediate to open league, division winners and indoor and outdoor champions.
Fish4Dogs has sponsored the Championships since the League formed in 2017, and this year provided over 1,500 prizes as well as sponsored jumps, rosettes, indoor matting and ringside barriers.
The Championship is growing in participants and attendance and this year a third day was added to the event dedicated to the first multi-breed championship.
A warm-up ring was also installed, which attracted interest around the globe through live streaming of the action.
The Showground neighbours RAF Scampton, which is home of the Red Arrows display team, meant visitors enjoyed a number of practice displays before the racing began.

“Its Championships provided a fantastic display of happy, healthy dogs enjoying their time with their owners and competing with other dogs.
“It is easy to see how much they enjoy it – from the wagging tails, noise levels and the joy of racing – the dogs are truly excited.
“It’s a lovely way of seeing like-minded people come together from all around the country to share their love of this sport and their dogs.”
