THE NEW Lido Park tennis courts will be officially opened tomorrow at 10am.
A ribbon- cutting ceremony will be held to mark the momentous occasion which follows a Standard-backed campaign to raise £40,000 to get the courts revamped.
It was launched by mum Elaine Ball who noticed the courts had fallen into a dangerous state of disrepair.
She said: “I want to say a huge thank you to everyone who donated and helped towards our campaign.
“We really could not have done it without you.”
