THE FESTIVE fun will continue into this month when the Norbury Theatre in Droitwich stages its annual traditional pantomime.

This year, the show will be Jack and the Beanstalk which will run from the middle of January.

As it follows Dame Trott and her sons, Jack and Jez, the show is packed with laughter, lively songs, colourful characters, comedy, one-liners and, of course, plenty of audience participation.

The dame and her sons’ fortunes change dramatically thanks to a handful of magic beans.

Before they know it, Jack is climbing high into the clouds, discovering golden treasure, unexpected friendships and a giant who may not be quite what he seems.

Performances take place from January 15 to 18, 22 to 25 and 29 to 31 at 7.30pm each evening and 2.30pm weekend matinees.

A spokesperson for the theatre said: “The Norbury Players are known for their warm, family-friendly productions and Jack and the Beanstalk promises to deliver feel-good entertainment and traditional panto magic in abundance.

“It’s the perfect way to brighten a winter’s day and start the new year with a smile.”
