THE LICENSEE of Droitwich’s Old Cock Inn is urging people to get in touch with ideas for free events and activities to hold inside the pub during the autumn and winter months.
Claire Fellows said the pub prided itself on being at the heart of the community and wants suggestions from residents about what they would like to see there.
The pub already holds a board game night, has hosted Spanish language conversation sessions in the past and is hoping to set up a darts team.
Another idea it wants to facilitate is a Dungeons and Dragons Night but needs someone to run it.
Claire said: “We want events and activities that people can meet up to do so they can spend some enjoyable time throughout autumn and winter.
“We very much have the philosophy that the local pub should be at the heart of the community and that’s what we strive to do.
“We are hoping people’s suggestions will very much enhance that vision.”
