AFTER ongoing inspection and repainting last week at the Droitwich Spa Marina, Hanbury road, the Pamela May Trip boat is ready to welcome visitors.
The popular vessel has passed its inspection ‘with flying colours’ required by its insurance company.
Pitting and corrosion of the hull has not progressed in the past seven years and, thanks to 12 volunteers, the superstructure is now clean and has been repainted. The hull has also been repainted with bitumen.
Since the Pamela May’s return to its waters it has opened its doors to loads more bookings for family and club outings but also for disadvantaged people and care homes as well.
