A DROITWICH opticians has marked ten successful years in the town with an around the world celebration.
Starting last Monday (March 13), staff at Specsavers in St Andrews Square themed the store as a new country for each day of the week-long celebration.
The team also ditched their uniforms in favour of fancy dress, as well as putting on games, food and snacks with all proceeds being donated to Vision Aid Overseas (VAO).
Store director Emma Singh said: “Ten years in Droitwich is a fantastic milestone for the store, so we thought it was only right to share it with our lovely customers.
“The store opened its doors in 2007 with six employees, carrying out 60 sight tests a week.
“Now we’ve got 14 staff members and do 120 tests a week, which shows how far we’ve come.
“A lot of our customers have also been with us since the start so we hope everyone comes in at some point during the week and celebrates the past ten years, while also raising important funding for VAO.”
