A DROITWICH vicar has been invited by Bishop John to be the new Dean of Women’s Ministry.
Rev Beverly Jameson, team vicar at Droitwich Spa, Salwarpe and Hindlip with Martin Hussingtree, was given the position and will represent the needs of ordained women across the Diocese.
Rev Jameson, who will be an official advocate for women priests both locally and internationally, said: “I’m delighted to be asked to become Dean of Women’s Ministry.
“I’m looking forward to finding out what the women of the Diocese would like- where they are, what they’re feeling and any support they need.
“I’m also hoping there will be lots of opportunities for fellowship with each other as we network together and learn from one another.”
She has been in the Diocese since March and will dedicate two days a month to her new role
