THIS YEAR’S Karen Moore Award for Creative Writing is now open for entries.
The competition is held at Droitwich Spa High School and is open to every student who attends there.
The contest, now in its fifth year, is sponsored by the Droitwich Arts Network which provides a £100 cash prize for the winner.
The top prize also includes a very handsome trophy donated by ex-deputy headteacher Karen Moore.
The title for this year is ‘The Best Days of Our Lives’.
Students from years eight to 11 can interpret the theme in any way they see fit and entries can be in any form and any length.
The judges said they were looking forward to another crop of high quality entries.
