Everyone welcome to Peace Vigil for Israel and Palestine at Bromsgrove's St John's Church

A PEACE vigil in response to the tragedy happening in Palestine and Israel will be held at St John’s Church in Bromsgrove.

The event will take place between 2pm and 4pm this Sunday, November 26, and is for people of faith and non-faith to express their grief and pain and to offer prayers and thoughts of peace.

This is not a service, there will be no speakers, just an opportunity for space and stillness.

Rev Ray Khan, Vicar of Bromsgrove, said: “The hearts of the Christian, Jewish and Muslim communities in Bromsgrove, have been broken by what has and is happening in Gaza and Israel.

“We have together planted a tree for peace in Sanders Park and wanted to offer the people of Bromsgrove a space to reflect, pray and light a candle for peace.

“This vigil is an opportunity for people to lay aside their differences and come as individuals, families or groups to express their desire for peace and to mourn the loss of so much life.”
