PLANS for a £500,000 revamp of Droitwich town centre will now go on show at the library a week on Monday (November 28).
They were due to be available to view from this Monday (November 21) but the display has been put back a week.
Work on the project is expected to begin from April next year.
We reported back in February about the three-year campaign which was agreed by councillors to fund repairs the town centre’s ‘dilapidated’ roads, pavements and drains.
It came after a consultation with residents in 2013 where they expressed concerns for the state of the High Street. Councillors then tirelessly campaigned to keep potential investments in the town at the forefront of council chief’s minds.
It is aimed at making the town more appealing for businesses, shoppers and visitors.
