MORE THAN 100 visitors turned out to Droitwich’s annual Local History Day at the town’s library.
There were a variety of activities taking place throughout the day and those who went along were able to view three friezes of Droitwich High Street – 1965, 1993 and the present day.
They were also able to look at a frieze of Friar Street in 1960 and talk to representatives from local societies and Droitwich historians.
Older visitors were given the option of writing down their memories and there was information about how Droitwich contributed to the First World War effort.
Droitwich Library Manager Bev Orlowsky said: “It was very well-attended and we had a lot of positive feedback.
“It was nice to see all ages there from families to retired people.”
