A FASHION show and raffle is being held by the Friends of Droitwich Spa Lido (FODSL) to raise funds towards the operation of the town’s unique saltwater Lido, writes Ryan Hesketh.
The event will take place at M&Co in the St Andrews Square Shopping Centre at 6.30pm on Friday, October 26.
Last year’s fashion show, also hosted by M&Co saw more than £700 collected which, combined with funds raised from other events, was used to purchase and distribute over £1,000 worth of Lido tickets to local schools.
Through other projects in partnership with operators Wychavon Leisure, FODSL has donated deckchairs, flowers and picnic tables and has contributed towards buying canoes, zorbs and other pool equipment which is free for swimmers to use.
Tickets to the show are £6 and include a complimentary drink.
