Aki arrived at the Vasaanti last June after running the popular India Spice restaurant in Bromsgrove for the past 17 years.
Since then, the restaurant has gone from strength-to-strength.
The first thing he did was get the restaurant retested to maintain the five-star hygiene rating.
He then introduced a new menu – keeping all the favourites and bringing in exciting new dishes, like the summer-perfect mixed grills.
And it has paid off – the popular eatery’s ratings have soared.
On TripAdvisor, from more than 300 views, it has averaged 4.5 (out of five) and 4.3 on Google, Facebook and JustEat.
Visitors who have left testomonies after heading to the High Street venue frequently mentioned the ‘great service’, ‘very friendly staff’, ‘amazing food’ and a host of dishes offered there, including the dhansak, tikka bhuna and pathia.
